Glass splashbacks
in any colour,
any size
Toughened glass splashbacks for kitchens, bathrooms and laundries — custom cut to your exact dimensions, in any colour, heat-resistant and seamlessly easy to clean. Supplied and installed across Melbourne and Geelong.
The smarter alternative
to tiles
Tiled splashbacks have been the default for decades, but glass has become the first choice for anyone renovating or building. A glass splashback is a single, seamless panel with no grout lines — which means no scrubbing, no discolouration and no crumbling grout to replace every few years.
Beyond the practical advantages, glass gives you a canvas for any colour in the spectrum — from bold statement hues to soft neutrals matched precisely to your cabinetry or tile scheme. The result is a kitchen or bathroom that looks intentional, considered and genuinely premium.
Glass splashbacks for
every room
We supply and install glass splashbacks in kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and anywhere else you need a seamless, easy-clean surface. Each panel is made to the exact dimensions of your space.
Most popular
Kitchen Splashbacks
Behind the stove, along the bench, or the full wall — glass kitchen splashbacks are heatproof, splashproof and the easiest surface in your kitchen to keep clean. Match any cabinetry colour perfectly.
Bathroom
Bathroom Splashbacks
Behind the vanity, around the bath or as a wet wall alternative to tiles. Glass splashbacks in the bathroom are waterproof, mould-resistant and give a clean, spa-like finish that no tile can match.
Laundry
Laundry Splashbacks
Behind the trough, along the bench and around the washing machine. A glass laundry splashback makes maintenance effortless and gives even a small laundry a finished, considered look.
Kitchen Splashbacks
The kitchen upgrade
that changes everything
A glass splashback completely transforms a kitchen. Where tiles create a grid of grout lines that trap grease and discolour over time, glass gives you a single, seamless surface that wipes clean in seconds. One panel. No joints. No maintenance headaches.
Our kitchen splashbacks are made from 6mm toughened safety glass with a colour applied to the rear face — giving a smooth, reflective front surface in any colour you choose. The glass is heat-resistant and suitable for direct installation behind gas and electric cooktops and stoves.
- 6mm toughened safety glass — AS/NZS 2208 compliant
- Heat-resistant up to 120°C — safe behind all stove types
- Colour applied to rear face — any Dulux or custom colour
- Precision cut-outs for power points and switches
- Notched or squared around rangehoods and windows
- Full wall, bench run or individual panel configurations
Bathroom Splashbacks
Spa-like finish,
zero maintenance
Bathrooms are where glass splashbacks really shine as an alternative to tiles. Behind a floating vanity, a glass panel looks sleek and expensive. There are no grout lines to mould, no tiles to regrout, and no surface that's easier to wipe down after use.
We supply bathroom splashbacks in standard clear-backed colours, frosted finishes for privacy, and even printed glass for decorative applications. The glass is waterproof and suitable for any wet or humid bathroom environment without any additional treatment.
- Fully waterproof — no sealer or treatment required
- Mould-resistant — no grout lines to harbour bacteria
- Frosted glass option available for privacy panels
- Cut to exact vanity width and height
- Any colour — match your tiles, vanity or accessories
- Mirror-backed option for a reflective finish
Any colour you can imagine
Our splashbacks are available in virtually any colour. Click a swatch to preview — or bring in a paint chip, tile sample or cabinet door and we'll match it precisely.
Why homeowners are
switching from tiles to glass
Tiles have been the default for kitchen and bathroom splashbacks for generations. Here's how glass compares across the factors that matter most to homeowners.
| Factor | Glass splashback | Tile splashback |
|---|---|---|
| Cleaning ease | ✓ Single wipe — no grout lines | Grout traps grease, requires scrubbing |
| Long-term maintenance | ✓ None — glass doesn't change with age | Grout discolours and may need regrouting |
| Colour options | ✓ Unlimited — any paint colour | Limited to available tile ranges |
| Installation time | ✓ Half day — one panel, no drying time | Multiple days including grouting & drying |
| Seamless look | ✓ No joins, no grout lines | Grid of grout lines always visible |
| Heat resistance | ✓ Safe behind stoves to 120°C | ✓ Also heat-resistant |
| Hygiene | ✓ Non-porous — bacteria can't hide | Grout is porous and can harbour bacteria |
| Cost | Comparable to quality tiles installed | Wide range from budget to premium |
| Custom sizing | ✓ Cut to exact dimensions | Limited to tile sizes — cuts at edges |
| Repair | Full panel replacement if damaged | ✓ Individual tile replacement possible |

Glass splashback FAQs
Are glass splashbacks safe behind a gas stove?
Yes — our toughened glass splashbacks are heat-resistant and fully safe for installation directly behind gas and electric cooktops and stoves. The glass is toughened to withstand temperatures up to 120°C. As a general rule, the glass should be installed at least 50–75mm away from open flame elements — we'll advise on the correct clearance for your specific stove configuration during the measure-up visit. The painted rear face of the glass is also heat-stable and will not bubble or peel under normal cooking conditions.
Can you match the glass colour to my kitchen cabinets?
Absolutely — colour matching is one of our most popular requests. You can bring a cabinet door, a paint chip, a tile sample or even a photo to either of our showrooms and we'll match the colour as precisely as possible. We work with Dulux, Taubmans and all major Australian paint ranges. We can also work from a paint code if you know the exact colour your cabinets were painted in. For best results, we recommend reviewing a physical colour sample in your kitchen before ordering, as colours can look different under different lighting conditions.
Can you cut around power points and switches?
Yes — precision cut-outs for power points, light switches, rangehood mounts and other wall fittings are a standard part of our splashback installation service. We measure the exact position of each fitting during the measure-up visit and note the required cut-out dimensions. Cut-outs are priced per opening and are included in your fixed-price quote. We recommend having all wall fittings in their final position before we measure, as any changes after glass production will require a new panel to be made.
How do you clean a glass splashback?
Glass splashbacks are exceptionally easy to clean — it's one of their biggest advantages over tiles. For everyday cooking splashes, a simple wipe with a damp cloth is all that's needed. For grease or stubborn marks, a spray of kitchen surface cleaner and a microfibre cloth removes everything in seconds. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners, which can scratch the surface or damage the sealant at the edges over time. Once a month, clean the silicone seal line at the edges to prevent any build-up.
How long does installation take?
A single kitchen splashback panel typically takes 1–2 hours to install. A larger kitchen with multiple panels or a full wall installation may take half a day. The total timeline from measure to installation is usually 1–3 weeks, depending on our current schedule. The silicone adhesive we use requires 24 hours to fully cure, after which the splashback is completely ready for use. We leave your kitchen clean and tidy and walk you through the care instructions before we leave.
Do glass splashbacks add value to a home?
Yes — glass splashbacks consistently photograph well and present well to buyers and renters. A seamless glass splashback in the kitchen and bathroom signals that the home has been finished to a quality standard, which influences perceived value. For investment properties, glass is also a practical choice because it requires no maintenance between tenancies — no grout to clean or regrout. Many of our clients install glass splashbacks specifically as a pre-sale upgrade to maximise their property's appeal.
