Transform your bathroom
with frameless glass
A quality shower screen does more than keep water off your bathroom floor. It defines the entire look and feel of your bathroom. A well-fitted frameless screen turns an ordinary bathroom into something that feels genuinely luxurious.
Unlike off-the-shelf screens that require you to compromise on size and style, our shower screens are made to the exact dimensions of your bathroom — no gaps, no awkward filler strips, no settling for something that's close enough. Every screen is custom-built for the space it's going into.
Frameless, semi-frameless
or framed — we build them all
Every shower screen system has different aesthetics, price points and practical benefits. Here's how they compare — and which one might suit your bathroom best.
Most luxurious
Frameless
The premium choice — no frame, no bulky channels, just pure clear glass with minimal hardware. The cleanest, most open look available. Makes any bathroom feel significantly larger.
Ideal for: Premium bathrooms, ensuite upgrades, renovations where a luxury finish is the priority.
Best value
Semi-Frameless
Glass panels with a slimline frame on some edges only — typically the door. Cleaner than fully framed while being more cost-effective than frameless. Our most popular system overall.
Ideal for: Most bathroom renovations and new builds. The sweet spot between appearance, durability and price.
Most durable
Framed
Full aluminium frame around all glass panels — the traditional, highly practical option. Extremely durable, easy to seal against water and available in a wide range of frame colours.
Ideal for: Rental properties, practical family bathrooms, commercial developments and high-use environments.
Any shower shape —
we make it fit perfectly
Whether your shower is a simple alcove or a complex corner configuration, we manufacture a screen that fits your exact space. No standard sizing, no compromises.
Alcove / Recess
The most common bathroom layout — a shower set into a three-walled recess with a single screen or door across the opening. Simple, practical and always effective.
Corner Shower
Two glass panels meeting at a corner, with a door on one or both sides. Available as a square or rectangular corner configuration to suit your bathroom layout.
Walk-In Shower
An open walk-in configuration with a single fixed panel and no door — a clean, contemporary look that suits larger bathroom spaces and creates a spa-like atmosphere.
Over-Bath Screen
A folding or fixed screen fitted over a bath to create a shower area. Available in bi-fold, single panel and L-shaped configurations to suit different bath layouts.
Wet Room Panel
A single fixed glass panel used as a splash barrier in an open wet room concept. Minimalist, easy to clean and perfect for contemporary bathroom designs.
Custom & Unusual
Angled ceilings, curved walls, non-standard dimensions? We handle every configuration — nothing is too complex for our measuring and manufacturing team.
Frameless Shower Screens
The purest expression
of bathroom luxury
A frameless shower screen removes everything that isn't glass. No heavy aluminium frames around the edges, no rubber seals obscuring the view — just beautiful clear glass panels held in place by minimal hardware. The result is a bathroom that feels open, light and genuinely premium.
Our frameless screens are manufactured from 10mm toughened safety glass, fitted with polished chrome, brushed nickel or matte black hardware to match your bathroom fittings. Every screen is custom-measured to your exact opening dimensions.
- 10mm AS/NZS 2208 toughened safety glass
- Hinged or pivot door options
- Polished chrome, brushed nickel or matte black hardware
- Low-profile wall channel or U-channel fixing
- Available with clear or frosted glass
- Custom cut to any size and opening shape
Semi-Frameless Screens
Smart looks at a
smarter price
Our semi-frameless shower screens offer the best balance of appearance, performance and value. The fixed glass panels are frameless — giving a clean, open look — while only the door carries a slimline frame for structural support and easy operation.
Available with sliding or hinged door configurations, in a wide range of frame colours and glass options. Our semi-frameless screens are by far our most popular system for everyday bathroom renovations across Melbourne.
- 8mm or 10mm toughened safety glass panels
- Hinged, pivot and sliding door options
- Slimline frame in silver, white, black or gold
- Suitable for alcove, corner and walk-in configurations
- Easy water seal and maintenance
- Magnetic door seals included as standard
Walk-In Panels
Open, doorless &
effortlessly elegant
Walk-in shower panels are the ultimate in contemporary bathroom design. A single fixed glass panel — or a combination of two panels in an L or U formation — creates a generous shower enclosure with no door to open or clean. Just walk in, shower and walk out.
Walk-in panels work best in bathrooms where the shower is large enough to contain spray naturally, typically 1200mm or wider. Our team can advise on minimum sizes and the best panel configuration for your bathroom layout.
- 10mm or 12mm toughened glass panels
- Single panel, L-shape and U-shape configurations
- Floor-fixed or wall-fixed options
- Optional return panel to control overspray
- Suitable for square, rectangular and angled spaces
- Available in standard clear or frosted glass

Shower screen FAQs
How long does shower screen installation take?
Most standard shower screen installations take half a day to a full day, depending on complexity. A simple alcove screen typically takes 2–3 hours. A corner configuration or walk-in with multiple panels might take a full day. The timeline from ordering to installation is usually 2–4 weeks — this allows time for glass cutting, toughening and hardware preparation. We'll give you a confirmed installation date when you place your order.
Can you install a shower screen if tiles aren't perfectly straight?
Yes — we encounter this in nearly every installation. Our measuring process accounts for walls that are slightly out of plumb and tiles that vary in thickness. We measure at multiple heights to capture the exact profile of your wall, and our screens are cut to accommodate these variations. We also apply silicone sealant along all edges and between the screen and tiles to create a perfectly watertight seal regardless of surface imperfections.
What glass thickness is best for a shower screen?
For frameless shower screens, we use 10mm toughened safety glass as standard. This provides excellent rigidity, weight and durability for an unsupported glass panel. Semi-frameless systems use 8–10mm toughened glass. Framed systems use 6mm toughened glass, as the frame provides the structural support. All thicknesses comply with AS/NZS 2208 for safety glazing in wet areas.
How do I keep a frameless shower screen clean?
Frameless glass is easier to clean than tiled showers — no grout lines, no crevices. After each shower, a quick squeegee wipe removes most water marks. A weekly clean with a glass cleaner or diluted white vinegar spray keeps the screen sparkling. Avoid abrasive cleaners. For the hardware fittings, wipe with a damp cloth and dry to prevent water spots. We also recommend having a professional glass protection coating applied — ask us about this at installation.
Can you replace an existing shower screen?
Absolutely — replacing an old framed screen with a new frameless or semi-frameless system is one of the fastest bathroom upgrades you can make. We remove your existing screen carefully, check the tile and wall condition, and install the new screen in the same visit where possible. The transformation is significant and the project typically takes one day. This is an especially popular upgrade for anyone doing a partial bathroom renovation without retiling.
Do you install shower screens across all of Melbourne?
Yes — we install shower screens across all of greater Melbourne and the Geelong region. Our Dandenong South team covers Melbourne's south-east, inner suburbs, eastern, northern and western suburbs. Our Geelong team at Armstrong Creek covers the Geelong region, Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula. We offer free in-home measure-ups before providing your quote.
